This place was hands down amazing! Had a splendid little date night! What really makes it awesome is you can bring your own alcohol with you to dinner, so obviously we brought wine. I live the old looking boat house look to the place, as if you were near the sea! The staff there was fabulous, our waitress Rihanna was spectacular! Started off dinner with the Clam Casino which contained like bread crumbs with bacon maybe basil if I recall along with hot sauce, it was to die for! We split the feast for 2, so salads came next with their homemade dressing, I had a clam dressing while the lady friend had a pesto like dressing that blew my mind!! Next out came the homemade like clam chowder soup which with filled with some vegitables. And finally came out the giant tray of the 2 lobsters, giant crab legs, scallions, shrimp, and a haddock for us to split!!! I was in heaven. To end the dinner our server was nice enough to bring us out chocolate flourless cake, it was fudgy and remarkable, my taste buds were shockingly happy!!!Quality of everything was excellent, and for what your getting the prices reason with it. Would absolutely love to go back!!!

Where do i begin! We rented the back room for a birthday celebration. So incredibly beautiful! A cozy, rustic den. Soft music playing with heaters everywhere to keep you warm.
We chose to do the Outrageous Feast ($79.95 pp), and let me tell you the amount of food we received was incredibly outrageous. Every time a server brought out a new tray i had to undo buttons on my pants. Everything was cooked to perfection.
I truly loved that you could bring your own alcohol with you, they made sure they had all the glasses and cooler's as well. Just and FYI this is a cash only establishment.
I will make it my duty to get back here, it was worth every penny -

*Cash only* I had high expectations from the reviews I kept hearing, but it seems that with the increasing prices the value is no longer there. First off I love the casual atmosphere; a home-like setting, and the staff were nice and welcoming, happy to open our BYO booze (great bonus). I ordered the king crab legs dinner which was $59.99 and came with a small soup, salad, and a side. First they served us little garlic bread rounds that were delicious. The soup choices were a seafood chowder or a gumbo. The gumbo was ok, I tried my husbands, but I liked my seafood chowder although it was very thin. The salad dressing options were a basil vinaigrette or a clam. Yes I said clam. I went with the clam at the waitresses recommendation but it really just tasted like mayonnaise. Not impressed there. My crab legs arrived and I thought there might be a few more legs than I actually got, and there was no claw, but I wouldn't quite call it skimpy. The taste and texture was good - but way too salty! It was overpowering the delicate crab, which was a shame - and by the way, I LOVE salt so for me to comment on salt means it was definitely too salty. That being said, I ate every bite after a hearty wash with butter! Arriving then was my side of greens, which was delicious but encased in thick buttery lemon sauce - a bit much and heavy. I could only eat a few bites despite the nice taste. At least the the timing of the meal was perfect, with just the right amount of time between courses. My friends said they must have been having an off night, but I'm not sure I'm excited to return.... we shall see.
** referring to Jeff's comment: thank you Jeff! I can see how the chowder was a different recipe than I was used to, but my friends that have been to Viking over 5 times commented on the salt and the clam dressing tasting different than normal, as well - the theory was that the legs were boiled in salt water? Or perhaps it was just an extra salty bunch of crabs! I will come and try you out again and update my review. -
